WALLINGFORD, CT (CelebrityAccess) — Planning and zoning officials in Wallingford agreed to changes in the Toyota Oakdale Theatre’s town permit that will make it easier for the venue to comply with noise rules.
The changed permit includes the removal of the provision that required the venue to not have any detectable noise outside of the building during shows. Intead, the theater will have to comply with standing rules for noise, which allows reasonable levels of sound, CBS Connecticut reported.
The commission also set curfews for shows at the Toyota Oakdale to 11:30 for most nights, and midnight on the weekends.
A lawyer for the venue said she still ahs to meet with town officials to discuss the status of other proceedings regarding noise complaints at the venue. – Staff Writers
