SAN FRANCSICO (Hypebot) – Twitter has released a major update to its #Music iOS App which provide new avenues for music discovery. Users can now listen to artists' top tracks, similar artists, and the artists that your favorite artist follows on Twitter. The later offers some intriguing opportunities for cross promotion.
#Muisc now also can scan the music library of your iOS device (iPhone, iPod touch or iPad); and in a move that links Twitter and #Music more closely together, tracks the artists that you’ve tweeted about.
Twitter #Music is also localized for the languages of Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland.
