According to the TicketsNow Entertainment Index. TicketsNow.com, saw U2 grab the top sales spot for the second consecutive month, with nearly one of every four music tickets sold on the site belonging to the Irish rock band.
Baseball also proved to be a big mover as arch rivals the Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees, along with perennial fan favorite the Chicago Cubs, were the top three sports tickets sold. Wicked, for the third month running, held on to its top spot for theater tickets, making it the sixth most popular event on the site overall.
