LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Nederlander Concerts has promoted Vanessa Kromer to the position of Vice President of Communications for the company, effective immediately.
An industry veteran with almost two decades of experience in entertainment publicity under her belt, Kromer will be responsible for managing all aspects of of public relations for Nederlander Concerts’ event and venues, including the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, Hollywood’s Pantages Theatre, San Jose Civic and City National Grove of Anaheim, as well as third-party facilities throughout California.
Prior to her promotion, Kromer was the Senior Director of Publicity for Nederlander Concerts, where she has held that post since 2009. In that role, she was responsible for initiatives such as the "Greek Week" series on Carson Daly's Last Call, marking The Greek Theatre’s 80th Anniversary. She also spearheaded the grand re-opening of the San Jose Civic and coordinated induction events for Neil Diamond, Heart and the Go-Go’s at The Greek Theatre’s new Rock of Fame. As well, she handled publicity for Nerderlander's executives, venues and artists.
Before joining the Nederlander team, Kromer worked for publicity firm Rogers & Cowen. From 2001 to 2008, Kromer was the Publicity Director of Nederlander Concerts, where she coordinated The Greek Theatre’s 75th Anniversary and groundbreaking ceremony, among other projects.
