Vivendi To Roll Flavorus Into See Ticketing

LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — See Tickets, a subsidiary of Paris-based music conglomerate Vivendi, announced that they have completed the acquisition of ticketing service Flavorus from SFX Entertainment.

Flavorus will integrate its operations with See Tickets, allowing the company to expand its footprint in North America. The new team will be led by See Tickets (US) CEO Boris Patronoff.

Flavorus provides ticketing services for 4,300 clients, including the Movement Festival, All-American 4th of July Celebration on the Queen Mary, Beautycon Festival in Los Angeles, San Diego Pride Music Festival, Electric Zoo: Wild Island Festival in NYC and Reggae Summit in Hawaii. The company offers ticketing services, as well as marketing, CRM, box office functionality, RFID and magnetic card ticketing, private label ticketing, reserved seating, analytics, layaway and payment plans, social media integration, fraud detection and prevention, and multi-use ticketing.

Flavorus, launched in 1999 as the California-based EDM ticket company Ravepass, was acquired by SFX in 2014 for $17 million. However, after the company filed for bankruptcy protection earlier this year, Flavorus was one of the assets the company divested, with Vivendi reportedly submitting a successful $4 million bid. – Staff Writers
