SAN FRANCISCO (Hypebot) – As YouTube battles growing criticism that it is effectively just a free music service that pays artists and labels too little, Music Key is… key. But the goal of reconfiguring YouTube into something that people might actually pay for has proven elusive for Google.
Beta testers of YouTube's fledgling subscription music service, Music Key, have been sent an email extending their free subscriptions until September 15th.
"As one of an exclusive group of Music Key beta users, your feedback has helped make it better each day. And to thank you, we've got good news! Your free trial is being extended."
