NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) — Singer Mariah Carey has been sued by a former manager and confidant Stella Stopler over a raft of allegations including breach of contract, unjust enrichment and breach of fiduciary duty.

The details on the suit are still somewhat brief and largely contained in a summons to appear filed in New York Supreme Court on Monday.

According to the summons, the “nature of the action” includes:

Breach of contract;
Quantum meruit; (a term which includes circumstances that merit fair payment for services)
Unjust enrichment;
Breach of fiduciary duty;
Violations of the California Fair Employment and Housing Act; and,
Violations of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

Stolper, a former comedian, became Carey’s manager in 2013 and served in that role until last year when they parted ways when Carey signed with Roc Nation. TMZ is reporting that Stopler is seeking a “huge amount of money” she claims Carey failed to pay her.

TMZ also reported that Sopler, who also goes by the name Stella Bulochnikov, has accused Carey of sexual harassment.

A rep for Carey told the New York Post’s Page Six, “If this frivolous and baseless claim is filed, we will defend against it vigorously and successfully.”
