(CelebrityAccess) — Neue Deutsche Härte legends Rammstein announced they will hit the road in 2019 for their first European stadium tour.
The tour kicks off on May 27th and 28th with a pair of shows at Veltins-Arena and runs through the summer before Rammstein performs at Ernst-Happel-Stadion in Vienna.
For the tour, Rammstein will perform 16 stadium shows, including Olympiastadion in Berlin, Saint Petersberg Stadium in St. Petersburg, and Stadium MK in Milton-Keynes.
Rammstein will be supporting their forthcoming 7th studio album. The album, which has yet to be named, is the band’s first major release since 2009’s “Liebe ist für alle da.” The album debuted at #1 on the German charts but ran into censorship headwind, due to issues with packaging.
In the US, the album peaked at 13 on the Billboard 200, and it scored #1 hits in 7 other European countries, including Finland where it was certified platinum on presales alone.
Tickets for the European tour will go on sale on November 8.
