LONDON (CelebrityAccess) — Two men have been arrested in connection with a pair of stabbings at Sony Music’s London headquarters on Friday.
According to the London Times, the two men were arrested after the stabbing incident on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.
Witnesses of the event described it as an apparent altercation between two members of Sony’s catering staff and one witness told the British Press Association that the two chefs were “running around chasing each other” and “slashing each other up,” with kitchen knives.
Witnesses later reported that one of the catering staffers was “covered in blood” one injured man “looking shocked” as he was wheeled out on a stretcher lying on his stomach.
The BBC reported that one suspect was transported to a trauma center while the second man was hospitalized.
The Met said there was no evidence of any firearms involved and it was not being treated as terror-related.
In a statement, Sony said two members of its catering team had been “involved in a violent altercation” and that the matter was under investigation by the police.
