ST. PAUL, MN (CelebrityAccess) – Twin cities concert hall and event space Myth Live has returned to the KFE Fold, inking a new deal with Knitting Factory Presents to resume in-house talent buying duties at the 14 year-old live music venue.
The deal is the latest in a series of recently announced booking agreements which included The Criterion in Oklahoma City and Elevation 27 in Virginia Beach. Late last year, Knitting Factory also announced a strategic alliance with Cmoore Concerts, an independent concert promoter in the Northwestern US.
Senior talent buyer Dave Poe will handle bookings for Myth Live from KFE’s New York City office, the company said.
“We’re thrilled to be back on board at Myth Live,” said Knitting Factory Entertainment president and CEO Morgan Margolis. “From Prince, Hüsker Dü and The Replacements to Brother Ali, Atmosphere and Son Volt, The Twin Cities have nurtured some of the most exciting artists of the last 40 years and we’re excited to be able to once again play our part in the continued growth of the live music scene in the Minneapolis and St. Paul area.”
Since it debuted in 2005, the multi-genre Myth Live has hosted a slew of top touring talent that includes Prince, Florida Georgia Line, Taylor Swift, Sting, Rihanna, Rob Thomas, M.A.A. Deftones, Paramore and more.
The configuraable venue can accommodate up to 3,300 fans or can be pared down to a 1,700 capacity half-house for smaller shows. The venue features 3 luxury skyboxes, as well as a new riser system in the balcony to ensure sightlines for patrons. Myth Live also features a third-floor bar known as the White Room, which includes a rooftop patio and a DJ Booth.
“We’re delighted to welcome Knitting Factory back as our exclusive booker,” said Myth Live General Manager Brian Jessen. “KFE is nationally known for their professionalism, hospitality and forward-looking talent buying and we’re looking forward to working with Dave Poe and the rest of the KFE crew to bring both established and newly discovered talent to our audiences.”
