CANADA CelebrityAccess) Morrissey, who’s known to cancel and postpone shows from time to time, is not going to Canada until later this month after an accident forced the singer to postpone most of his first tour of the country in 15 years.
“Due to a medical emergency stemming from an accident incurred while traveling in Europe, Morrissey will be forced to postpone his performances in Vancouver to October 14th and 15th, 2019,” reads a statement. However, “Spirits are high and the artist is on the path to a swift recovery.”
The tour was expected to kick off tonight in Vancouver. Other postponements are Calgary, April 17; Edmonton, April 18; Saskatoon, April 20; and Winnipeg, April 22.
Tickets will be valid for the new dates. Morrissey is expected to pick up his tour as planned starting with the Toronto dates of April 26 and April 27, followed by a Montreal show April 29.
The Edmonton date has been moved to Oct. 10.
