LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — The American rock duo Twenty One Pilots have expanded added a spate of new dates to their “BanditøTour” due to what Live Nation describes as “overwhelming demand.”
The new dates, which follow the band’s current sold-out arena run, will kick off October 9th at Tampa, FL’s Amalie Arena and will continue through a performance at Tulsa, OK’s BOK Center on November 9th.
The band is currently on the road in Europe for summer festival season with performances scheduled at Gurtenfestival, Festival de Nimes, Lollapalooza Paris & Berlin, Paleo Festival, Sziget, Reading & Leeds, Pukkelpop, Lowlands, and Caberet Vert, among others.
The band is touring in support of their latest LP Trench, which moved more than 175,000 album equivalent units in its first week of sales when it dropped last year. The album has since been certified gold by the RIAA and debuted in the top 5 in charts around the world including U.S., U.K., Belgium, Canada, Finland, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Norway, Scotland, and Sweden, with #1 debuts in Australia, New Zealand, and The Netherlands.
