(CelebrityAccess) – After months of rumors, Apple has finally revealed its all-new AirPods Pro.
According to the tech-giant, the latest addition to the AirPods family features Active Noise Cancellation, superior, immersive sound, and an all-new lightweight, in-ear design. Each earbud also comes with three different sizes of soft, flexible silicone ear tips that conform to the contours of each individual ear, which Apple says enables both a comfortable fit and a superior seal.
Apple’s Transparency Mode provides users with the option to simultaneously listen to music while still hearing the environment around them should they want to. Apple also says switching between Active Noise Cancellation and Transparency modes is simple and can be done directly on your AirPods Pro using a new, force sensor located on the stem. The force sensor reportedly makes it easy to play, pause or skip tracks, and answer or hang up phone calls. Users can also press on the volume slider in Control Center on iPhone and iPad to control settings, or on Apple Watch by tapping on the AirPlay icon while music is playing.
Additional features include voice-activated Siri; audio sharing, which makes it easy to listen to the same song or watch the same movie with a friend by simply bringing a second pair of AirPods close to iPhone or iPad; and announce messages, which automatically speaks incoming messages as soon as they arrive.
All of the features of standard AirPods still apply to AirPods Pro as well. They connect instantly to your iPhone or Apple Watch and they are also sweat and water-resistant.
Apple’s AirPods Pro retail for $249 USD and begin shipping October 30th.
