Serving as Fox News’ chief political anchor, Baier has led more than three dozen political specials and reported from more than 74 countries. Over the past decade, he has served as the anchor and executive editor of Fox’s Special Report With Bret Baier, for which he has conducted countless memorable interviews with politicians, newsmakers and pundits including former U.S. Presidents Barack Obama and George W. Bush; Hillary Clinton; DNC Chair Tom Perez; Senator Amy Klobuchar, among other notable American figures. Additionally, Baier co-hosted the Bernie Sanders town hall, which was the most-watched candidate event this election cycle bringing in more than 2.5 million viewers nationwide.
Since joining Fox News in 1998 as a reporter in the Atlanta bureau, Baier has held a range of roles including Chief White House Correspondent and National Security Correspondent. He is also an accomplished author, having penned four New York Times best-selling novels including “Special Heart” and three acclaimed “Three Days” books on presidential history.
