LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — The Beach Boys announced that actor, producer, and musician John Stamos will be featured a special guest during a string of shows as part of the band’s “Endless Summer Gold” 2024 tour.
The tour, which marks the 50th anniversary of the band’s 1974 Endless Summer compilation album, includes performances in iconic venues and festivals such as the Wolf Trap in Vienna, VA; Ravinia Festival in Highland Park, IL; and the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, CA.
Stamos, who is best known for his portrayal of Jesse Katsopolis in the long-running ABC sitcom “Full House” has had a long-standing relationship with the Beach Boys, dating back to 1985 when he played a July 4th show with the band at the Washington Monument in Washington D.C.
Since then, he has appeared in multiple Beach Boys music videos and directed the video for “Hot Fun in the Summertime.”
“I believe their songs have been patiently waiting for this moment, perfectly timed to uplift spirits, especially when needed the most,” he said. “I’m humbled that I get to be part of something truly special, something bigger than ourselves,” Stamos said.
The Beach Boys 2024 ‘Endless Summer Gold’ tour kicks off on May 24th at the Hartford HealthCare Amphitheater in Bridgeport, CT, and wraps at the Oceans Calling Festival in Ocean City on September 28th.
