LONDON (CelebrityAccess) — The music industry publication IQ Magazine has announced the inaugural Indie Champions shortlist, celebrating the independent companies that drive the live entertainment industry.
For the debut of this honor, a shortlist of 20 nominees was selected by IQ readers, marking the beginning of what the publication aims to establish as an annual accolade.
In the first round of announcements, IQ recognized Poland’s indie festival and concert promoter Alter Art, the UK’s Bird on a Wire, Spain’s Cap-Cap Produccions, the UK’s Crosstown Concerts, and Australian promoter Destroy All Lines.
The second round highlighted independent Canadian concert promoter evenko, Czech promoter Fource, France’s Gérard Drouot Productions, Benelux promoter Greenhouse Talent, and Germany’s Karsten Jahnke Konzertdirektion.
In the third round, honorees included U.S.-based creative marketing agency Marauder, UK festival company LS Events, German concert promoter and artist management company MCT Agentur, U.S.-based Move Concerts, and Brazilian promoter Mercury Concerts.
