NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) — Dave Matthews Band, Goose, Warren Haynes Band and Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweat were among the performers at a sold-out benefit show at New York’s Madison Square Garden, helping to raise funds to support Western North Carolina’s relief and recovery efforts in the wake of Hurricane Helene.
Led by Dave Matthews Band, the Soulshine benefit concert also featured a roster of special guests that included Trey Anastasio, Mavis Staples, Robert Randolph, Derek Trucks, Susan Tedeschi, Trombone Shorty, and Joe Russo, showcasing the collective spirit of the jam band community.
The concert opened with music from DMB and Warren Haynes, followed by Goose, who performed a rendition of “Arcadia,” a fan-favorite from their debut album Moon Cabin.
Goose then welcomed pedal steel guitar legend Robert Randolph to the stage for a rendition of “Give It Time” followed by collaborations with Derek Trucks, Susan Tedeschi and Dave Matthews.
Warren Haynes Band and Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats returned to the stage to perform, followed by a set by Dave Matthews Band who closed the evening with a performance of The Beatles’ “Come Together,” featuring all of the night’s performers.
The concert was produced by Dayglo Presents in conjunction with Live Nation.
Net proceeds will go to support the Soulshine Concert Fund at the Charlottesville Area Community Foundation, supporting Habitat for Humanity’s 2024 Hurricane Recovery Fund and various non-profits focused on recovery efforts in North Carolina and Florida.
