DENVER (CelebrityAccess) – ASM Global, the world’s No. 1 development, full-service venue and live events company, has named Lance Zanett as the new General Manager (GM) of the Colorado Convention Center (CCC) in Denver.
Zanett has over 25 years of experience with the venue, most recently as the assistant general manager. He has demonstrated exceptional leadership and operational excellence, which have been instrumental in CCC’s success.
Leveraging ASM Global’s unmatched expertise and comprehensive service, Zanett will lead the company’s efforts in elevating CCC’s guest experience and operations, unlocking new opportunities to attract high-profile events, trailblazing sustainability in venues and event management, and delivering significant economic impact to the local community.
In making the announcement, Dan Hoffend, Executive Vice President (EVP) of convention centers at ASM Global, said, “Lance’s exceptional leadership and deep understanding of Colorado Convention Center’s operations make him the ideal choice to lead this iconic venue into the future. Zanett’s appointment was a collaborative decision between the City and County of Denver’s Arts and Venues Department and Visit Denver, the city’s official marketing arm. With a recent $233 million expansion, the CCC is elevating the meetings and events experience with a new 80,000-square-foot rooftop ballroom, pre-function space and 20,000-square-foot outdoor rooftop terrace with sweeping views of the Rocky Mountains and Denver’s skyline. CCC upgrades, including technology improvements, are expected to generate an additional $85 million in annual economic impact for the local community while setting the venue at the forefront of innovation meetings and events.
