1995's 'Grateful Doe' Identified Through Familial DNA


RICHMOND, VA (CelebrityAccess) – 1995’s Grateful Doe has been identified as Jason Callahan of Myrtle Beach, through DNA.

Michelson said she's both relieved and sad that her questions surrounding her brother's disappearance have finally been answered.


The reason Callahan’s family was not actively looking for him was their belief he was gone by his own volition. Callahan’s mother told authorities that she hadn't heard from her son since June of 1995 when he left to follow the Grateful Dead, according to the report. Lt.
