Adams' Charity Gets Pretty Penny

MUMBAI, India (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Canadian rocker Bryan Adams received a donation of $10,000 for the Bryan Adams Foundation.

Netsurf Entertainment and Penrod Ricard, the organizers of the event, donated the money, which was a part of what was earned through the concert in Mumbai Saturday.

"It was absolutely generous. Thank you very much for helping my foundation. I really appreciate. It's my fifth concert here and this is not the last time. I have made good friends over the years in India. Thank you very much," Adams told reporters after receiving the donation from actor Suniel Shetty and Sujit Jain, managing director of Netsurf Entertainment, according to The Times of India.

Adams started his five-city India tour Friday in Pune and will be performing in Bangalore (Sunday), New Delhi (Tuesday) and Hyderabad (Wednesday).
