WEST PALM BEACH, FL (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — AEG Live’s regional office in West Palm Beach, FL will book talent and handle technical production for SunFest 2009, Florida’s largest waterfront music and art festival. SunFest 2009 will take place April 29 – May 3 in downtown West Palm Beach.
Senior Vice President of the Florida office John Valentino and his staff will book artists in all music genres for SunFest. The team has previously booked acts for SunFest while working at Fantasma Productions.
“We’re thrilled to be a part of the excitement of SunFest once again,” said Valentino. “The waterfront of downtown West Palm Beach is one of the most beautiful festival sites in the country. SunFest has been an innovator in the festival world for decades and has continually raised the bar to create the ideal artist and fan experience. We look forward to a great year!”
Fergie, Sheryl Crow, The Black Crowes, John Legend, George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic and The Mighty Mighty Bosstones are just a few of the artists that headlined SunFest 2008. Over 280,000 patrons attended the 5-day festival. Last year, SunFest also introduced “New Music Night” on Thursday where local music fans voted for the up–and-coming bands they wanted to see. 15 bands including headliners Good Charlotte and Finger Eleven performed at “New Music Night.” SunFest will continue this new tradition as well as book this year’s biggest names in music.
“We are excited about partnering with AEG Live," said Paul Jamieson, Executive Director of SunFest. "The corporate resources and regional veterans working on the show will take the festival to a new level. As Florida's largest music and arts festival, SunFest, with the help of AEG, will showcase some of the hottest musicians along West Palm Beach’s most scenic stretch of waterfront."
AEG Live is actively pursuing booking opportunities for SunFest 2009. Valentino, Colyn Volpe and Ethan Levinson can be reached at 561-681-5600 or via email at email@example.com, firstname.lastname@example.org
