AGENCY & MANAGEMENT NEWS: CAA To Open Big Apple Office & CEG Opens West Coast Office (Click on More to view all articles)

(CelebrityAccess News Service) – CAA is adding an office in New York. The agency has signed a long term lease for a 15,000 square foot office space at 21st Street and Fifth Avenue. The office, however, is for the literary, film and television departments only, not music.

George Lane, who recently left the William Morris Agency for CAA, will head up the office as expected. It has not been determined how many agents will staff the office, which is expected to open in late 2003/early 2004.

CAA currently has offices in Beverly Hills, CA and Nashville.–Jane Cohen and Bob Grossweiner

CEG Opens West Coast Office

(CelebrityAccess News Service) – Central Entertainment Group (CEG) has opened a Los Angeles office to better service the West Coast. The office will be run by Shawni Young, formally of The Agency Group, and can be reached at 866-815-2040 or email at syoung@track.net

In other CEG news, effective November 1, CEG is now accepting credit cards (American Express, Visa and MasterCard) for deposits.
