ANAHEIM, CA (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Southern California’s Arrowhead Pond of Anaheim will be renamed the Honda Center in October.
The agreement between Anaheim Arena Management, LLC and American Honda Motor Co., Inc. is the first naming rights deal for the car company and the first name change for the 13-year-old facility.
The city of Anaheim recently made an agreement with the team to keep the city’s name in its title. With a recent name change from the Mighty Ducks to the Anaheim Ducks, it freed up the arena to pursue new naming options.
