LONDON (CelebrityAccess) — Grammy Award-winning Corinne Bailey Rae, described as the “bewitching Queen of British Soul” in the UK media, has announced new August-September US tour dates in support of her highly-praised new album The Heart Speaks In Whispers (Virgin Records). Corinne will headline shows across the Midwest (Chicago, Minneapolis, Kansas City), South (Dallas, Nashville, Memphis, Charlotte), and East Coast (Boston, New York, Washington DC, Philadelphia) with her stunning live set. Tickets go on-sale Friday, June 17. She has also announced another show with Alabama Shakes in Austin on September 23.

Recorded both at her studio in Leeds, and in Los Angeles at Capitol Studios, The Heart Speaks In Whispers is co-produced by Corinne with Steve Brown, her collaborator on her critically acclaimed previous album The Sea. The album features a number of notable musicians including Paris Strother and Amber Strother from KING, Grammy Best New Artist winner Esperanza Spalding, Pino Palladino (D’Angelo, Erykah Badu, The Who), James Gadson (Marvin Gaye, Bill Withers), Marcus Miller (Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock), and Moses Sumney (Beck).
