New York, NY (CelebrityAccess) – Vancouver's fast rising alt-pop artist Old Man Canyon will join Australia's The Paper Kites on a extensive North American tour this fall, kicking off November 12 in Los Angeles. The 21-date run will make pit stops at Seattle's Crocodile Lounge, Boston's Brighton Music Hall, New York's Music Hall of Williamsburg and more, in addition to a handful of performances at premier Canadian venues. Born from the efforts of frontman and Vancouver-native Jett Pace, Old Man Canyon’s debut EP Phantoms & Friends was released in February of 2014 to an overwhelming response.
The five tracks that make up the Phantoms & Friends EP received significant sync attention on Showtime’s Shameless, Bravo’s Suits, ABC’s Pretty Little Liars, FX’s Sons of Anarchy, which garnered acclaim from Perez Hilton, Audio Tree and more for its evocative sound. The title track has seen over 450k views on Youtube.
The Paper Kites tour follows an extensive writing period and creative metamorphosis for Pace. This much-anticipated effort was worth the fans' wait and comes in the form of a full-length LP titled, Delirium, set for release at the top of 2016 and courtesy of Randm Records.
When discussing Delirium, Pace says, "My writing process and interests have completely changed, so inevitably the dynamics and energy of the songs have changed." He adds, "I think this album will be a departure in ways from the past songs, but also not far enough so that one can’t hear it’s still the same band and creative spirit."
