(CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Atlanta native/resident and blues-rocker Tinsley Ellis will receive a coveted Phoenix Award from the city of Atlanta during his hometown performance at the Variety Playhouse on June 25. Atlanta's Director of Cultural Affairs, Camille Love, will present the city's highest and most prestigious award to Ellis.
Ellis has just released his first live CD, Live-Highwayman, on Alligator Records.
