LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — Electro-Pop project Big Data has signed with the Agency for the Performing Arts for representation in all areas except Europe.
Helmed by producer Alan Wilkis, Big Data is best known for their hit single "Dangerous", featuring Joywave, which reached #1 on the Billboard Alternative Songs chart, moving 400,000 singles and generating 11 million streams on Spotify.
Big Data's first E.P., "1.0.", dropped in late 2013 on Wilkis's own Wilcassettes label and their first studio album, "2.0" came out in March of this year, also on Wilcassettes. The new album features guest appearances by Twin Shadow, Jamie Lidell, Kimbra, Wye Oak's Jenn Wasner, and others.
As well, the group is currently on the road, with tour dates scheduled throughout the summer, including key shows at Summerfest, Firefly and Bumbershoot.
