NASHVILLE, TN (CelebrityAccess) — Country music legend “Whisperin’” Bill Anderson has signed with The Kinkead Entertainment Agency for booking representation, where he will be repped veteran agent Bob Kinkead out of the company's Nashville office.
"I'm really excited about joining Bob and his agency. His is the 'boutique' approach to booking, with a limited number of artists and a lot of individual attention given to each one. His 30-plus year reputation as an agent in Nashville is impeccable,” Bill Anderson said in a statement.
Anderson, known for his distinctive vocal style, has racked up an impressive catalog of more than forty studio albums, with seven No. 1 singles, and is a six-time Songwriter Of The Year award-winner. He is a member of Country Music Hall of Fame and the Grand Ole Opry, where will celebrate his 55th anniversary as a member on July 16th.
Anderson is also gearing up for the September 1 release of his new autobiography, Whisperin’ Bill Anderson: An Unprecedented Life In Country Music published by University of Georgia Press. – Staff Writers
