NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — A deal has been reached for Billboard and Nielsen Soundscan parent company VNU to acquire Radio & Records, a leading news and information publication serving the radio and record industry.
R&R was established in 1973 and headquartered in Los Angeles. The publication offers news, analysis and marketing programs for record and radio industry execs.
“This acquisition is in line with VNU’s strategy to further strengthen its services to the radio and record industries,” Michael Marchesano, president/CEO of VNU Business Media and Nielsen Entertainment, according to Reuters.
