Bluegrass 'n More Festival On Track


MOREHEAD (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Morehead University will play host to the Bluegrass 'n More Festival on June 2nd $ 3rd in Morehead, Kentucky.

The festival will feature performances by a range of artists, including Dave Carroll and New River Line, Pete and Joan Wernick, Clack Mountain String Band, Grass Towne, Kenny and Amanda Smith, Don Rigsby and Midnight Call, Bobby Osborne and Rocky Top Express, Mark Eubank, Carla Gover, Rob McNurlin and Daniel and Amy Carwile. The festival includes Bluegrass gospel on Sunday with Salvation Rain and the Easter Brothers.

Attendees to the free event will also be able to check out three art exhibits: "ConTextual: A Juried Exhibition of Contemporary Textiles", the exhibit of "Quilts-Hand Needled" and "Who Am I?: Self-portraits by self-taught artists."

In addition, instrument workshops will be held, including Pete Wernick's Jam Camp. Visitors will also be able to watch a living history demonstration by Civil War re-creationist group 5th Kentucky Infantry Company E who will display and demonstrate period artifacts and weapons for the entertainment and edification of the general public.
