HUNTINGTON, WV (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — A.J. Boleski, former Manager/Director of Event Services at the Canton Memorial Civic Center in Ohio for the past two years, has been named General Manager of the 8,500-capacity Big Sandy Superstore Arena in West Virginia.
Boleski will be responsible for all business operations at the facility, including operations, security, event services, finance, and booking/marketing, according to the Huntington News.
Prior to joining the Canton Memorial Civic Center in 2004, Boleski served as Sales & Event Manager as well as Event Coordinator at the Kansas Expocentre in Topeka.
“Boleski has proven himself as a leader even before his arrival at the Big Sandy Superstore Arena with his proactive approach,” said Amanda Weiss, Marketing Manager, at the Arena. “He has already demonstrated his valuable industry knowledge by bringing the American Idols 2006 Tour, a show that is booked in over 15 SMG venues, to the Arena for September.
