Boston Police Pull The Plug On Odd Future Show

BOSTON (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — A show at the Boston House of Blues by Los Angeles-based hip hop collective Odd Future was abruptly shut down by police mid-performance.

According to music blog Pitchfork, uncomfirmed reports suggest that the police pulled the plug on the event after one of the group's crew was arrested outside of the venue.

In a video of the incident, the group's frontman Tyler The Creator starts to explain the show's shutdown to the crowd.

"We wanted to finish [the show] but the owner of the club made us turn it off and the police are right there," Tyler begins to explain, before power to his mic is cut and the stage lights are brought down.

This isn't Odd Future's first experience with police in Massachussetts. In 2011, during a store appearance at Newbury Comics, the group sparked what has been described as a 'near riot' that left one police officer injured, when the group got onto the building's roof and began leaping from building to building and incited a crowd that gathered on the street.
