Brian Wright Upped To VP, A&R At UMG Nashville


NASHVILLE (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Brian Wright has been promoted to vice president of A&R at Universal Music Group Nashville. Wright has been with company for more than six years, most recently in the position of senior director, A&R.

During his time at Universal, Wright has worked with many of the company's critically acclaimed, breakthrough artists including Sugarland, Gary Allan, Billy Currington, Julie Roberts and Lee Ann Womack. He performed A&R duties on Womack's "There's More Where That Came From," recognized by the industry as her most distinguished album to date, and which received the CMA Album of the Year Award in 2005.
