Canadian Promoter Fined In Tax Dispute


(CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — In a ruling imposed by the Ontario Court of Justice, Promoter Mark Zurevinsky and his two companies were fined $53,000 CDN after being found guilty on four counts of income tax evasion according to the Thunder Bay Chronicle-Journal. Mark's companies Maz Concerts received over 15,000 CDN in fines, MZ Productions garnered fines of both 6,700 and 8,470 and Zurevinsky was had a fine of 22,936 levied against him personally.

The fines were imposed after the Ontario Court of Justice found Zurevinsky guilty of not reporting more than 300,000 in income for himself and his various enterprises.

This is not the first time that Zurevinsky has run afoul of the Canadian IRS. He previously had fines of $187,000 imposed against his holdings for failure to pay taxes previously. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers.
