TUCSON, AZ (CelebrityAccess) — An Arizona casino has canceled a scheduled show by embattled comedian Bill Cosby, who is facing a growing chorus of rape allegations.
Cosby was to perform at the Desert Diamond Casino in Tucson on February 15th. The casino did not offer a reason for canceling the show, which was a part of Cosby's "Bill Cosby 77" tour, but said in a statement to the Tucson Sentinel that it regretted “any inconvenience to our guests.”
Seven different women have come forward this week to make rape allegations against Cosby, each following a similar narrative in which they accuse Cosby of drugging and raping them in decades-old incidents. The list of new accusers includes Lou Ferrigno’s wife Carla Ferrigno, “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest” actress Louisa Moritz and Therese Serignese, a 58-year-old nurse from Florida.
Cosby has repeatedly stated that he does not have any comment on the allegations but in a statement released on Thursday, an attorney for Cosby characterized the accusations as "fabricated or unsubstantiated." – Staff Writers
