LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — Estimated ticket sales for Friday through Sunday at U.S. and Canadian theaters, according to Rentrak.
Rentrak's Senior Media Analyst Paul Dergarabedian commented, "Warner Bros. had a great weekend globally with Will Smith in 'Focus' taking the top spot in the worldwide derby with $27.7 million, 'Jupiter Ascending' leading the charge in the international arena with $25.3 million and their 'American Sniper' crossing the $500 million milestone in global box office. Notably, Sony's sci-fi entry 'Chappie' opened in the second spot worldwide this weekend with $27.0 million."
