CHICAGO (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — As new Chicago venue, the City Winery heads towards their late July opening, they've tapped Colleen Miller to handle bookings for the club.
The 300 capacity music hall follows in the footsteps of the successful City Winery, which opened in New York in 2008. According to the Chicago Tribune, the venue is expected to book approximately 200 shows a year, including multi-night 'residencies' across a variety of formats. When it opens, the music hall will be attached to a 30,000-square-foot restaurant with a world-class wine list.
Most recently, Miller was employed at Old Town School of Folk Music for the past 17 years. She has also booked and managed venues such as the Coronet Theatre in Evanston and been a co-owner at Biddy Mulligan’s.
