AUBURN HILLS, MI (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Scott Wruble has joined Palace Sports & Entertainment, LLC (PS&E) as Vice President of Information Technology, effective February 8, 2012. He will report directly to Rob Johnson, Chief Financial Officer for PS&E.

Wruble will be responsible for managing all aspects of PS&E’s information technology services to meet business strategies including application systems, office automation, voice and data communications, internet technologies, point of sales services and equipment, digital advertising media, security and personal computing devices and equipment.

He joins the organization after serving the past six years as Director of Information Technology for the Detroit Tigers. While with the Tigers, he transformed the team’s IT department into a business-focused resource in which technology investment directly impacted productivity and revenue generating operations while maintaining a secure and stable computing environment.

“Bringing Scott to our leadership team further compliments the wide-ranging background of experience and knowledge we possess throughout the company,” said Dennis Mannion, President of PS&E. “In addition, his skills have been proven in applications which directly relate to our industry and, being from this area, his knowledge of our local market and vendors will provide an extra benefit.”

Wruble brings to PS&E 20 years of experience transforming business processes through innovation and effective management of technology resources and investment along with broad and deep technology and strategic planning skills attained through the successful implementation of enterprise solutions.

“The goal of our continued business restructuring at Palace Sports & Entertainment is to spread leadership throughout the organization as we add key staff with expertise in the areas of business development and strategy, revenue, technology, and marketing and communications,” continued Mannion. “Scott’s addition aligns perfectly with our vision for the future as he joins other recent appointments including Lucinda Treat, Charlie Metzger, Jeff Ajluni and Adam Schneider.”

Prior to joining the Detroit Tigers, Wruble served as Director of Information Technology for Alliance Logistics in Midland, MI. He began his career in 1991 with State Farm Insurance in Bloomington, IL as a Senior IT Analyst/Senior Business Analyst. He left the company as its Senior Strategic Planning Analyst to join Alliance Logistics in 2003.
