Clear Channel Entertainment is scouting sites in downtown Pittsburgh, PA and in the suburbs to open a namesake club that would fill a gap between arenas and small clubs and could seat between 1,500 and 2,500 people.
Other Clear Channel area venues include the Post-Gazette Pavilion at Star Lake (23,000-capacity) and IC Light Amphitheater (5,000-capacity)– both opened only during the summer months.
Clear Channel has opened clubs in other marktets, including Denver and Philadelphia.
