BOISE, Idaho (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Lisa Cochran has been named as the new executive director at the 13,000-capacity Taco Bell Arena at Boise State University.
Cochran had already been serving in that role on an interim basis after the former director Joyce Grimes retired from the university earlier this year.
Cochran has worked in various capacities related to the operation of Taco Bell Arena since joining Boise State in 1997. Prior to moving up to the post of interim executive director, Cochran had bee directing marketing and booking efforts as the director of marketing since 2004. She managed the branding and unveiling efforts of Boise State’s Recreation Center in addition to managing sponsor partnerships for the arena from 2002-04.
Before joining Boise State, she served as a market manager for Verizon Information Services, managing the product portfolio and all new product introductions. She also spent seven years managing fitness and recreational facilities for the Seattle Club.
Cochran has an MBA degree from Boise State and a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Seattle Pacific University. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
