DENVER, CO (CelebrityAccess) — The Colorado Music Hall of Fame will host an induction concert with performances from original members of the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Poco and Firefall, plus a tribute to Stephen Stills/Manassas, on Friday, January 9, 2015, 7 pm at Denver’s Paramount Theater.
The evening will feature video tributes, interviews with inductees, celebrity speeches and performances and guest members of popular Colorado bands. The pre-concert gala (a meet-and-greet with the inductees) will also include an array of exhibits and archival photographs, to be relocated to the future home of the CMHOF – the Red Rocks Trading Post. Also being honored will be Chris Hillman, Richie Furay, producer Jim Mason and comedian/banjo player Steve Martin
The show marks the first event for the CMHOF to be presented by their sponsors Comfort Dental. The CMHOF announced their long-term partnership with Comfort Dental earlier this month.
"I am thrilled to announce our long-term relationship with Comfort Dental. To find such a company outside the music world, which cares about our community and gives back in so many ways, is truly special." Morris added, "The CMHOF board of directors believes in the power of Colorado rock history to inspire lifelong music fans, and Comfort Dental's generosity will allow us to relocate to our new home at the Trading Post at Red Rocks and establish a permanent institution in the service of shaping our state's musical future," CMHOF chairman Chuck Morris said while making the announcement about the sponsorship partnership. – Staff Writers
