(CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Courtney Love’s US club tour has been postponed just days before it was to start. Love’s 24-date club tour was set to kick off June 18 in New Haven, CT and wind down July 23 in Los Angeles She was also scheduled to play Central Park's SummerStage in New York on June 28. The tour has been postponed to August; however, Ticketmaster's web site indicated that the dates were canceled.
According to Love’s spokesperson, the singer’s legal issues are the reason for the postponement. She is facing three pending trials. Love pled guilty on May 25 to a misdemeanor drug office in Los Angeles Superior Court. On June 11, Love turned herself in to LA police and was booked on a felony charge of assault with a deadly weapon for reportedly assaulting a woman with a liquor bottle at boyfriend Jim Barber's home in April. Love is expected in Manhattan criminal court on June 28, facing charges of third-degree-assault and second-degree reckless endangerment, after she allegedly hit a fan with a microphone stand during a March 17 concert in New York City. – Jane Cohen and Bob Grossweiner
