DAMON ALBARN, MARIANNE FAITHFULL and SIGUR ROS are amongst the artists confirmed to appear at a month of events at the LONDON BARBICAN according to NME.com.
For the third year, the Barbican arts centre is running a series of events called 'Only Connect'. Musicians and artists are invited to perform one-off shows that are slightly unusual.
Blur and Gorillaz frontman Albarn plans to elaborate on his love of World Music. Two years after his trip to Bamako to investigate the music of Mali, Albarn is to be reunited with the musicians he recorded with in Africa to perform the world premiere of 'Mali Music'.
