(CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Rumors have been confirmed that the Dave Matthews Band and Sheryl Crow will play two shows at Fenway Park in Boston this summer.
The shows, to be held on July 7 and 8, will take place while the Red Sox are on the All-Star Break mid-season.
Crow’s appearance as the opening act may depend on her health, as she underwent surgery for breast cancer last month. She also postponed a concert tour that was set to begin in March.
Last summer, the Rolling Stones took the field at Fenway, tearing up the legendary turf with an elaborate stage set up. Grounds crews at the field were left scrambling to replace the outfield sod before the next game.
In the past few years, Bruce Springsteen and Jimmy Buffett have also filled the bleachers of Fenway Park.
