Earls of Leicester Lead The Pack For The 2016 International Bluegrass Music Awards Nominations


NASHVILLE, TN (CelebrityAccess) — Nominees for the 2016 International Bluegrass Music Awards were announced at a press conference in Nashville, Tennessee, with reigning IBMA Entertainers of the Year, the Earls of Leicester, leading the pack with three nominations for the band and five for their individual members.

The Del McCoury band followed close on their heels six nominations (band and individuals), Flatt Lonesome with five nominations and Becky Buller, Sam Bush, Sierra Hull and Frank Solivan with three nominations each.

Other multiple nominees with three nominations each include Becky Buller, Sam Bush, Sierra Hull and Frank Solivan; and with two nominations each: Balsam Range, Lonesome River Band, and The SteelDrivers.

Awards are voted on by the professional membership of the International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA), the trade association for the bluegrass music industry and the awards will be presented during the International Bluegrass Music Awards, Thursday, September 29, at the Duke Energy Performing Arts Center in Raleigh, North Carolina.
