The twice postponed Emmy Awards has a new date and a new venue — November 4th at the Shubert Theater in Los Angeles.
The original Sept. 16th date was postponed out of respect for the victims of the Sept. 11th terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. Rescheduled for Oct. 7th, the show was nixed just hours after it was to begin when the United States began its air assault on Afghanistan that day.
