Family Values Tour 2001 Set

Stone Temple Pilots, Staind, Linkin Park, Static X, Deadsy and Spike 1000 are confirmed for the Family Values Tour 2001 kicking off October 11 in Cleveland, Ohio and winding down November 24 in Anaheim, California.

Making a return after last year's hiatus, the tour is a joint venture between The Firm and Metropolitan Entertainment Group, and is being promoted by Concerts West (CelebrityAccess, Sept. 9).

This year's trek follows the tour's 1998 and 1999 outings. The tour's first lineup was headlined by Family Values' co-creators Korn, along with Limp Bizkit, Rammstein, Ice Cube and Orgy. The following year, Limp Bizkit jumped to the headliner spot and were joined by Filter, The Crystal Method, Primus and Staind, among others. Both tours produced successful live albums, including the gold-certified Family Values Tour 1999 CD, highlighted by the #1 rock single "Outside," featuring Staind's Aaron Lewis and Limp Bizkit's Fred Durst.
