MANCHESTER, UK (CelebrityAccess) — Music fans were forced to evacuate during a concert by British blues guitarist Joanne Shaw Taylor on Tuesday night after a fire alarm sounded during the show.
Taylor was performing at a sold out show at the Manchester Royal College of Music when the fire alarm sounded amidst the second song of her set. Fortunately, it proved to be a false alarm and after a short wait on the street, the crowd was re-admitted to the venue.
Taylor, who was discovered by Dave Stewart of the Eurythmics when she was 16, is touring in support of her latest album "The Dirty Truth." Taylor also played as lead guitar for Annie Lennox's band at the Diamond Jubilee Concert in London and more recently, performed a concert at Buckingham Palace.
