FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., (CelebrityAccess) — The 170 member Gay Men's Chorus of South Florida has launched a nationwide search for a new Artistic Director
The Chorus had been led by Gordon Roberts since its inaugural year, but his contract expired this past summer.
"Gordon Roberts is an accomplished musician, and we owe him a deep debt of gratitude for the service he has given to the men of the Chorus," states Board Chair Doug Pew. "We believe Gordon has great things ahead of him in his career and wish him tremendous success."
While they seek a new permanent artistic director, the group will be lead guest conductors, with the season expected to open as scheduledd fo the group's holiday concerts, scheduled for December 11, 12, 18 & 19. – Staff Writers
