(CelebrityAccess) — After bowing out of all of his concerts through early 2017 due to serious health issues, Gregg Allman's team has rescheduled all of his previously announced shows for 2017.
Allman was reportedly diagnosed with pneumonia in August and announced in October that he was taking some time off to recover.
"This is the hardest thing I’ve had to do in a long, long, time. I’ve been on the road for 45 years because I live to play music with my friends for my fans. As much as I hate it, it’s time for me to take some real time off to heal," he said while announcing the cancellations last October.
Allman will be back on the road starting on June 2nd when he starts 4 nights at the Grand Opera House in his home town of Macon, Georgia, and will wrap up with two nights at Iron City in Birmingham.
In July, Allman will perform a series 8 shows at City Winery in Manhattan.
